sending the right students
All staff will need to attend the Basic skills course, and the majority will benefit from attending the Premises course.
Civica courses, other than Basic skills, are structured to suit students with certain existing Flare knowledge. For each course we publish the pre-requisites for attendance.
can I bypass the pre-requisites?
We strongly recommend that you adhere to these pre-requisites if your authority is to gain full benefit. If you know that your prospective students already have the skills needed to benefit from the course please call us to discuss. We often send a questionnaire to check the level of existing skills. Students are asked to complete and return it at least 10 days before the start of the course so that we can ensure that their level of Flare knowledge is adequate.
tailored courses
We do NOT provide tailored training courses using customers own data. If you would like a tailored training course using the Civica training data we may be able to help. Please call us for advice. If you decide to proceed the order must be received at least one month before the course date.
special courses
From time to time we give courses on special topics or to cover major upgrades. We always inform all customers and scheduled training can be viewed via our training web page at any time.
end user courses
Such courses will provide training using A COPY of the customers live data. Customers will be charged for ½ day during which the trainer will familiarise him/herself with the customer’s data. This is in addition to normal course costs and expenses.
