Civica has been the leading supplier of fleet management systems to the emergency services market for over 25 years and currently supplies 39 of the 52 (75%) UK police forces as well as law enforcement agencies in other countries such as the Republic of Ireland and Trinidad and Tobago. Civica’s Tranman system is designed to cope with the unique requirements of vehicle provision to modern day operational policing. Our systems have specific functionality as standard to manage ghost plates, commissioning / de-commissioning vehicles, service scheduling in a police environment and NAPFM benchmarking.
Through our account management structure and police specific user groups we make sure Tranman is constantly developed to meet the needs of our police customers. In addition all of our support engineers, consultants and trainers are checked to full NPPV standard by Warwickshire Constabulary on behalf of ACPO and in accordance with the ACPO national vetting policy.
NAPFM Benchmarking
Civica has been working closely with the National Association of Police Fleet Managers for several years to ensure that our systems are fully compatible with the benchmarking requirements and supports their aim of ensuring best practice is shared and implemented across all UK forces. Tranman is configured ready to ensure accurate information is collected and produces all the necessary files for submission at the touch of a button. Due to our close working relationship we ensure that the Tranman system is kept up to date as new benchmarking requirements are added.
