Civica have an established vendor network which has been developed over 20 years to include all major software vendors and hundreds of other smaller ones. In addition, the Primary Account Manager would be available to source additional unspecified requirements through our established distribution network.

Through these contracts, we are able to deal directly and competitively with Microsoft, to source Select and Enterprise Agreement products. Civica is also one of Microsoft’s leading Large Account resellers by volume and winner of the Microsoft 2004 operational excellence award.

Civica Services has worked closely with Microsoft since 1988 to achieve the top accreditation of Microsoft Gold Certified Partner. Resellers need to provide substantial numbers of trained technical and sales staff, evidence of financial strength and stability, and convincing customer references. We have access to advance product information and direct support from Microsoft, as well as being able to provide a high level of consultancy expertise.

Suppliers are selected according to several factors, which include:

• Previously demonstrated ability to supply product or service to a similar specification.
• Evidence that the supplier can meet an approved quality standard, or specified quality management requirement.
• Evidence that the supplier can meet environmental standards where appropriate. Where appropriate an appraisal of the supplier by the company’s quality inspection. Whether the supplier’s costing represent best value.
• Evidence that the supplier can work to established timescales in terms of response and delivery.
