Golden Gates Housing chooses sustainable, ultra thin client technology from Civica Connect.
Warrington based Golden Gates Housing has implemented ultra thin client desktop technology to help reduce operating costs and carbon footprint.
Working with its technology partner, Civica Connect, GGH has installed the desktop units for 200 of its users. The organisation will benefit from reduced cost and complexity of maintaining a typical desktop environment and at the same time improve security, mobility and flexibility.
In addition, to help meet growing sustainability demands, GGH will profit from significantly reduced energy costs, as the units have very low power consumption, as well as reduced wastage due to the long lifecycle and the small manufacturing requirement of the product.
End users will have greater flexibility of mobility which should help the organisation increase productivity. The system delivers hotdesking functionality which can help with office space consolidation.
